Synchronized Production System is used to improve efficiency in a production line by means of 12 steps. Reducing waste is the core of SPS. When talking about waste you have tot hink of unnecessary work (waiting, searching, thinking, etc.), work procedures (walking from one point to the other, manual labor, working on machines, etc.), waste regarding machines (over dimensioning of machines, feedline that are too long, etc.) and much more. It uses 6S and SMED.

When to use

Synchronized Production System is used in the β-phase and the mass production phase.

Synchronized Productie System is used:

  • to improve efficiency in a production line without big invetsments
  • to reduce waste in the plant
